UPFDA Board Elections to Be Held at Annual Membership Meeting – October 22

The United Producers, Formulators and Distributors Association (UPFDA) will hold its annual Board of Directors election during the Annual Membership Meeting on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. Each member company in attendance will be eligible to cast one vote.

According to the UPFDA Bylaws, the Board of Directors consists of the President, Vice President, Secretary/Treasurer, Immediate Past-President, ten (10) Directors, and the Executive Director (non-voting). Of the fourteen (14) voting members, at least six (6) must represent distribution/reseller member companies, maintaining a balanced mix of distributors/resellers and manufacturers/formulators. Officers serve one-year terms and generally serve two terms consecutively, and Directors serve three-year terms.

This year’s Executive Committee will be on the ballot to serve an additional one-year term in their current officer positions:

  • President: Patrick Lynch, Bell Labs, Inc.
  • Vice President: Tom Algeo, Target Specialty Products
  • Secretary/Treasurer: Casey Prewitt, Neogen Corporation

Immediate Past President: Cisse Spragins, Ph.D., Rockwell Labs Ltd., will continue in this role as dictated by the bylaws.

In addition, the terms of four Directors are concluding: Scott Riley, Berry Cothern, Tommy Reeves, and Jacqueline Angulo. While Scott, Berry, and Tommy will not seek re-election, Jacqueline Angulo has announced her intent to run again.

Jacqueline is the only candidate for the needed Distributor Director seat.

Four candidates have been nominated for the open Director seats:

  • David Arney – Envu
  • Andrea Hancock – Mattress Safe
  • Ryan Klein – AMGUARD Environmental Technologies
  • Susan Masciarelli – Web-Cote Industries

Three of these candidates will be elected to serve on the UPFDA Board of Directors.
